The head of Discipline for 2009-2010 will be the Vice Principal, Br. Mohamedraza Tarbhai
- If a student is seen pushing and shoving another student for the first time then they will get a warning. If the same student is caught twice he/she will get one week detention and the parents will be notified.
- If a student is heard swearing or using abusive language for the first time then they will get a warning. If the same student is caught twice he/she will get one week detention and the parents will be notified.
- If a student is caught hitting another student and injuring them than the parents will be informed, they will get a warning and 2 weeks detention.
- If a student is present in the Madrassah and misses a class than the student will be warned, Parents will be notified, and the student will be given some duties according to the discretion of the head of the disciplinary committee. e.g. help clean the cafeteria at 2 p.m.
- If a student is found outside the school premises then the parents will be called in for a meeting and the student will get 3 weeks of detention during lunch break. In addition the student will have to get a form signed by all the three respective teachers confirming that the student was in class each week. The duration of this exercise is to be determined by the head of the disciplinary committee.
6) All the students will have to fill out a “Think Paper” form.
The detention room will be one of the classrooms on the first level with a sign on the door. The students will be given work and books to read. Detention time will be 12 – 12:30 p.m. during break time. No detention during Madrassah functions.
NOTE: There will be times where the above rules may not be applied accordingly as stipulated depending on the severity or frequency. It will be based on the discretion of the Committee.
